Twiigs are an anomalous species that seemingly live in shadow. They were named that way by multiple species due to their tendency to make their presence known by accidentally or purposefully snapping twigs and branches with their lower extremities.

Their biology is difficult to quantify as most common senses such as sight and scent do not work on them. However, it appears they have a unique ability to allow light to pass through their body, making them invisible at all times with the exception to certain wavelengths.
