Start a new article here. Type the name and press the button: the page opens with the right infobox, the usual sections and a {{Stub}} notice already in place. When you save, it's added to its category automatically.
Use the common name if there is one. See the style guide for naming and layout, or the example species, planet and system pages for finished ones.
Species
Plants, animals, fungi, microbes and sapient species.
Planet
Planets, moons and other worlds.
Star system
Category
A new top-level category. It's added to Category:Universe, so it appears on the Main Page and the About page automatically. To have articles join it automatically, it also needs its own infobox; see Adding a new category.
