Species
Livionians

Livionians are a sentient mammalian species that switch between quadrupedal and bipedal movement. They share a unique trait not commonly seen in complex animal life in which they have the ability to change their sex, seemingly at will.

While Livionians can be quadrupedal, their front/upper extremities show similarities to humanoid hands with opposable thumbs. Meanwhile, their back/lower extremities show a similar design that can be found in Cheetahs and other similar mammals. They are commonly regarded as a terrifying species, as they have bounced back easily from the brink of extinction multiple times due to events on their planet.

Their genetic profile has signs of instability, most likely due to prior near-extinction events. This might explain certain quirks of their biology such as multiple variants of pigmentation across their fur, skin, and eyes.
